Slow-Carb 100 - Day 3 (Rest)
Today is my rest day because it is more convenient to have today off the diet.

Breakfast (950)
Full English consisting of
- 3 rashers of crispy bacon
- 2 pork sausages
- 2 fried eggs
- mushrooms
- tomato
- beans
- brown toast with butter
- black coffee
Lunch (1300)
- Toasted cheese sandwich
- Salad
- Crisps
- Apple
- Raspberries
- Tea with milk and 2 sugars (hooray) x2
Various cups of tea throughout the day. This is the only day where I’m allowed a tea with milk and sugar of course.
Dinner (1800)
- Steak, burger in rolls, hot dog in rolls, chicken strips
- Salad
- Potatoes
- Birthday cake
- Lemon meringue pie
- Red wine
- Champagne
If only the picture was all the food.
Verdict
The things I missed the most were bread (toast particularly) and tea with milk and two sugars. It was good to have the food I had, but today was the exception rather than the rule as it was a relative’s birthday. I know I have put on weight but who wouldn’t on a day like this? Next blow-out day I intend to eat less.
