Slow-Carb 100 - Day 4
Measurements
- Where: London, UK
- Weight: 88kg (yes, up…)
- Waist: Lower 39”, Upper 39.5”
I’ve decided to give two waist measurements. The upper one is where gentlemen’s trousers sit and the lower one tends to be where modern jeans sit. The weight is up as expected. Several reasons for this I think including yesterday’s blow out and constipation (you did want all the details right?). It will drop again.
Day 4 - Breakfast (715)
Two poached eggs, cauliflower, green beans and lentils. Mug of black coffee.
Lunch (1210)
Tuna, lentils, broccoli and cauliflower.
Lunch 2 (1640)
Chicken, Brocolli, cauliflower and lentils.
Verdict
So I “failed” before I’ve begun but it doesn’t matter. The blow out day needs to be 5 days after you start so effectively I started the diet today. The dry-run will not hurt though. I had two glasses of wine this evening to ease the pain. I have to say that the diet is already getting boring. It is convenient in some ways - it is easy to prepare, especially if you have a microwave. But forget eating at Starbucks - almost everything there is banned for 6 days a week. Tomorrow will be an interesting day because I’m travelling. This means I will have to eat before I leave for the airport and sort myself out as soon as I land. The only food on the flight available will be biscuits or crisps.
