Today is a day of rest
Saturday is my designated slow carb rest day this week which means I can eat and drink anything I want. In the plans are: a Starbucks with a doughnut, a full English for brunch, some beers at a work outing and some steaks in the evening with plenty of red wine. I’m acutely aware that my weight is not lowering, however I feel thinner and I’m not bloated. I have to give the diet a chance to work. I’m drinking too much red wine and need to cut it out.
Summary
On rest (or cheat) day, you can have exactly what you want and in fact you need some carbs. In summary, plenty of coffee, a doughnut, a full Irish breakfast, chicken schnitzels and chips and plenty of beers. We had a work team building party so there were plenty of excuses for the drinking.
But on top of all that, I played beach volleyball for the first time in my life. I’m still finding sand in my flat from the experience. Also plenty of archery, table tennis and shooting.
