Last post for a little while.
I’m going to stop the Slow Carb diet for now for two reasons. Firstly, if I continue on the diet I will lose more weight and I’m not sure that I do. It has cost me significant money to replace my clothes and I’m now have the same shape I had when I was 24. If I go any further, I will be like I was when I was 20 and before. Maybe I will do this again next year. Secondly, I’m finding exercise difficult due to lack of energy. I’m probably not eating enough but I did very well this Saturday on porridge, so maybe time to introduce some carbs.
I’m steady at 78kg with a 36” waist. I was 76kg but I’ve stabilised back at 78kg. It’s been a worthwhile exercise and I feel a lot better.
What I’m going to do though is avoid carbs in the evening and restrict the white carbs that I eat - so maybe I will have a sandwich at lunchtime but definitely no carbs in the evening. Also back in are fruit and dairy - essentially I will make most of my diet from low GI foods. I will keep an eye on my weight and if it starts to rocket, I will go back to the Slow Carb diet.
I will continue to publish my measurements and pictures of what I eat in order to self-regulate, but it is not the right place to do it here because this blog is about Slow Carb. So I’ve started a new blog called <Chris’s Daily Practice which will contain all this information. I do not expect masses of readers - it’s there for me as much as anyone else. Note: Oct 5th 2014: This blog has been removed.
