Join me this week on a One Meal a Day challenge! I’ve decided that enough is enough. I was in Lille earlier this week and succumbed to the large business lunches. Three courses with wine. On Wednesday I took the evening off, had a dinner at the Barbican on my own in preparation for a new start.

Since Thursday I have been on One Meal a Day. And I’m already beginning to feel better. If the rules are simple, they are easy to follow. Here they are:

  1. One Meal a Day, usually after 1600 but before 1900.
  2. Six days a week, the meal is low carb.
  3. On Saturdays, I’m allowed carbs.
  4. For this week, no alcohol.

I can’t publish numbers this week because I haven’t been keeping track. I can tell you that before I went on holiday two weeks ago, I was a staggering 87kg. I decided not to worry about it too much and to have a rest.

I will take the edge off this week and possibly next with One Meal a Day. Then I need to knuckle down for the run up to Christmas.
