The Wettest January on Record.
Dry January? Ha ha ha. I just counted the number of bottles of wine I had in January and it was around 11. So much for that then. But does it really matter?
Probably. I was more disciplined last year. I managed to get through Q1 with little alcohol and lost a lot of weight. In January this year I’ve flatlined around 83.8kg. Goodness, I’m so embarrassed I won’t be posting any statistics today.
The key problems were two weekends away and at least one dinner out. Although I enjoyed them very much, they disrupted the diet.
I rewarded myself for nothing this morning with a full English. I won’t post the picture because the sausages were over-cooked.
Now is February going to be any better? I have a work trip planned. My colleagues are great and we’ve already plotted to have only steaks on the nights out. Then I will be getting my head down to get some stuff done. I’m writing another book and I’m behind on the schedule.
What happened to Petunia, I hear you cry? Well she has been dieting very successfully. Far too successfully. In fact, I need to learn her secret. Maybe more on this later.
Oh and if you are following closely, I’ve started to resurrect my 100 Days on the Slow-Carb Diet blog posts. This will take me a bit of time, but look at the entries in 2012 if you are interested.
