Starting again at Lent.
January and February were diet disasters of the Clarkson double-denim variety. I’m going to start again at Lent. In fact, this is precisely what I’m going to do:
- Continue to drag along half-heartedly until Shrove Tuesday.
- Go out with my colleagues for dinner on Shrove Tuesday.
- Eat pancakes.
- Start a new life on Ash Wednesday.
- The life will consist of no alcohol until Good Friday and only one meal a day.
- The meal will be large and carb-free except on Saturday when carbs are allowed.
And those are the rules. Maybe I’ll write more about the progress. I’d like to do so daily, but I have a lot to do.
There’s little point posting any statistics this weekend. Unless of course you want to break the red gun of your monitor. Whoops!
