Cravings.
I’m surprised that I’m not craving any naughty food or alcohol. I’m surprised because usually I find getting onto a strict diet difficult. But I’ve settled straight into a One Meal a Day diet, and I seem to be on track.
It’s one week today since I started, and I have stuck to the rules. I need to do something about exercise. I’m walking lots but I’m not doing any weights. In February I lost the rhythm of getting up and doing some weights whilst I made coffee. I should really find the rhythm again.
How long have I got left? Strictly I should break the diet either on High Thursday or Good Friday, 18th April. And I will, don’t you worry. The problem is on Easter Monday I go to Atlanta, L.A., San Diego and Seattle to finish my baseball project.
It will be too easy to destroy everything I do in Lent if I’m not careful. So, I’m already working on a plan to avoid that. I find it easy to diet in the bigger U.S. cities. I visit Chipotle a lot and eat a lot of steaks. I will try to eat a low-carb diet and keep the cheat days to a minimum.
