I’ve broken my seed oil rule without realising it. Yesterday I made an excessive amount of chilli con carne, enough to see me through to about 2028. I jest of course. But it was a lot. Whilst I was in the supermarket picking up sour cream, I bought a tin of refried beans. Also, I bought 100% chocolate to add to the chilli to thicken it up.

I had two bowls of the chilli with smashed avocado, refried beans and sour cream. And it floored me. I guess it must be the refried beans and the kidney beans in the chilli. So, I double checked the refried beans ingredients for sugar. And they have sunflower oil in them. Oh dear.

By 1800 I was quite tired. This morning my weight is up. But I slept very well indeed. My day is shifting, and I’ve become a morning person again. In fact, this morning I was dozing and got worried that I was late getting up. I looked at the clock and it was 6:30…

But the fatigue in the evenings is unusual. I don’t remember this from previous one meal a day diets. Perhaps I’m forgetting what happened. But when I consult my notes, I don’t see anything about fatigue. What is common to my previous Lent attempt in 2021 is that I was getting a bit fed up. I need to get through week three (next week) and see how it goes.
