The Final Push
I have one more week to go. I’ve succeeded in keeping a one meal a day diet, except for one minor fault. I’ve eaten low-carb meals six days a week and one carb-rich meal on the seventh. Today I’m having a low-carb day, because tomorrow I’m going to France and I intend to eat in a restaurant.
On Monday I will need to find a steak restaurant and avoid starchy carbs. I have a place in mind. It will be difficult because there are social events and usually I work best at these with a glass of wine. But on Tuesday, I’m back in my usual environment and so I should be able to make it through to next Saturday.
On High Saturday, I will break my routine. I will be having a full English breakfast at a café and something else in the evening. On Easter Sunday there will be a huge roast dinner with some sort of pudding.
On Easter Monday, I will start something new. I intend to revert back to two meals a day. I will have six days without starchy carbs and a cheat day as normal. I will be monitoring calories and macros this time. I need to get enough protein. Also I will be keeping my drink to a minimum, limiting myself to one day a week or special occasions.
But let’s see what the results are like on High Saturday. I’m hoping to have maintained the weight loss so far and hopefully I will have made a bit more progress.
