One or two of the meals on Sunday have wine in them. The alcohol would have been cooked out by the time it reached the plate.

Where I have written “vegetables”, usually this means green beans, asparagus or broccoli (or a combination). Our salads typically include avocados and sometimes cheese (e.g. feta).

I usually drank at least 2 litres of water a day (including herbal tea). Most days I took Zinc and Magnesium tablets. In March I occasionally added apple cider vinegar to the first glass of water of the day.

I had a cough before Lent started which had mostly gone but still caused the occasional coughing fit. I took throat lozenges to calm them. Additionally, on 28/2 I took a Lemsip because I felt ill. I took vitamin B supplements (Beroca) on 1/3 - 3/3, 5/3, 6/3, 14/3.

I made several purchases on Amazon during Lent, but they were either for relatives, birthday presents or groceries. In mid-March I needed some PET and glass bottles for brewing. None of the purchases were particularly unnecessary.
