I’ve bought some ketosis test strips and I’m burning fat according to the tests. So in some sense I’m making progress. But I’m still breaking the rules daily.

It is obviously difficult to walk the dogs when I’m away on business. But there have been a couple of days this week where I’ve had to leave it to my wife. There’s not been much in the way of weight training this week. My alcohol consumption is up and switching off by 2000 has been impossible this week. So the only rule I’m following is the diet one…

And I have another week of moving around ahead of me. It doesn’t bode well. I will have to take each day as it comes.

Generally July and August were disasters. I did more exercise in both months, but this didn’t make a difference. It won’t if there is alcohol consumption and a relaxed diet. A good diet is key to weight loss. After the trip this week, I need to knuckle down for the rest of September.
